Good bye for now, not good bye forever! I've just learned that the Ranch I'll be working at and am leaving for on Friday, is having some trouble with their internet. It's been down for a few days, and it most likely will be down for a while yet, I'm not sure. I WILL keep up blogging to the best of my ability, but I probably won't always have an internet connection while I'm there. So don't think I'm gone! I may be able to post again in a week, or it may be three weeks...I don't know. Sorry for the uncertainty, but I'm sure ya'll are understanding. I'll keep you up-to-date though, and maybe even post pictures of where I am and what I'm doing. And I know I promised pictures before, but I can't seem to figure how to get them on my blog post. I tried uploading them from my computer, which is one of the options, but it was taking FOREVER, and still there was no picture. So I was wondering if it would be easier if I uploaded them form a Picasa Web Album or whatever... Aussie-merican girl, I saw some pictures on your blog...was it hard for you? How did you do it?
So, farewell for now my friends! Don't forget me...you can comment as much as you want, and I will get back to you. I will sorta be around til Friday, so I'm not gone yet! Also, please take a minute for pleasure, and take a look at this link: Peniel Ranch . This is the ranch I will be working at. Some of the highlight places on this site are: 'About Us', 'Activities', 'Facilities', (If you click on the pictures, they will get bigger), 'Retreat Pictures', (this will take you to Facebook...there's about a hundred pictures on their Facebook page~ some of which we're in!), and 'Meet The Staff', (the people we will be working with). If ya ever decide to drop in for a retreat, we'd love to have ya!
Bye! God bless you all!

Saturday Wisdom Search
I've seen a fad in blogs, where they have certain days that they post certain things like 'What I Wore Wednesday' or something about recipes on Tuesday, etc. So I thought I'd have a day where I posted a few verses and such for thought. I may not post every Saturday, because I don't know how much time I'll have, working at the ranch and all, but I'll try to have something new every week.
So, that being said, I'll start...
I was in a conversation with some friends yesterday evening, and one of my friends brought up the point that 'really only God knows who is saved and going to heaven, and who isn't...that's not really for us to say'. This seems to be a popular belief among Christians. I've run into it a lot, and thought about it a lot. If this is true, then....what have we got to do with these verses:
Mat 7:15-20 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Ye shall know them by their fruits...Beware of false prophets...Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. So it sounds like Jesus is telling us to beware, and know a person by their fruits. Here's a few more verses to support:
2Th 3:14 And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. ...In this verse, we are told to have discernment, and make a clear judgment about other people.
2Co 3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: ...An open book for all men to read and see whether their deeds be evil or good.
Pro 20:11 Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right. ...Even a child is KNOWN for his doings, good or evil.
Mal 3:18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. ...God calls us to discern between the righteous and the wicked.
So, with those scriptures, you can clearly see that God DOES call us to be discerning and careful. Everyone is an open book for all the world to see, which is why we are responsible for setting a good example. 2 Th 3:14:...note that man, and have no company with him... How could we fulfill this command if it's not our place to examine someone to know whether their deeds are good or evil? How do we avoid evil flatterers and two tonged people? Well, actions speak much louder than words! We MUST have discernment! God does know the heart of every man, but the heart is also an open book for all men to read.
Just my thoughts...anyone else?

A Tribute To David Wilkerson
It's already been a week since he passed from this life to Glory. I grieve that he's gone, but every time I think about him, joy fills my heart for what he must be experiencing this very moment in that lovely place! To think that he is looking on the very face of God as we speak, reveling in the rest and beauty of heaven...wonderful! I simply can't wait to get there myself. The more weird and crazy and evil this world gets, the more I look forward to my true home...Heaven! Anyway, there has been some very nice videos put together in remembrance of him, and I wanted to share them.
Pastor Dave, as he was affectionately known, was killed instantly in a car accident on April 27, 2011. He had a wonderful ministry, and lived his life for the Lord. I always loved a sermon by Pastor Dave, and was shocked at his passing. Hope you enjoy these short clips.

Sewing for Summer
I'm getting all geared up to do some much needed sewing. I'm so greatful that I have this skill, because it's getting so hard to find anything modest and feminine to wear anymore. So I'm in process of making 3 skirts for my self for the summer...I like what one of my friends said: "One must be practical when sewing for one's summer wardrobe when one has no money." I'm with you L, and I'm sure you'll laugh when you read this! lol I'm hoping to post pictures of them for ya'll....I know some of you were asking for pictures of my sewing projects. Maybe I can get that stubborn camera to work!!!
In the mean time, we have a new batch of baby rabbits! 10 of them...so fuzzy and warm. Every one of them are black with touches of white here and there. Maybe I'll even post pictures of them too. These are not fryers as they call rabbits that are raised to eat, (we do raise rabbits to eat btw), but these bunnies are to sell. They just warm my heart to hold them!
I am ever surprised how fast time flies...25 days until I leave for the summer. I can't believe it! I'll be gone for 3 months til September. But I will be sure to keep everyone posted about what I'm up to.
Bye for now...
~Danielle
P.S. I don't mind comments at all...in fact, I love them, love to hear from you!
